Welcome to The Crooked Path

Welcome to the Crooked Path! This is a website for Pagans, Witches and Cunningfolk of the Old Persuasion. Wiccans are welcome too, but please remember that this is a non-Wiccan site, so you may find material and opinions that you disagree with. Don't forget to check out the Crooked Path Podcast, and the new video podcast too.

In case you were wondering where the name "The Crooked Path" comes from, it is an old-fashioned phrase used to describe the path of the Traditional Witch or Cunning Man. There is a lot of Lore attached to the phrase, but in typical "hidden in plain sight" fashion, the phrase itself can be found occasionally in books as far back as 100 years ago, and has been in the public domain long before that. Not a common phrase, but one that is, never the less, in common use.

All the opinions stated in the articles forums and other areas are the opinions of the respective authors - the management does not necessarily share those views. We will remove anything we find that promotes hate, violence or illegal activity, and reserve the right to remove unsuitable material without warning or explanation.
